mission statement
simple production is a New York based art organization intended to feed the imagination of any curious audience. Inspired by themes drawn from the human condition and the environment to abstract concepts, the works include—but are not limited to—live performances, videos and film. Uniting the performing and multimedia arts, the original efforts and choreographies is a collaboration of talent from diverse cultures: innovative and like-hearted artists creating something generous, authentic and meaningful around them. simple production aspires to offer the experience of something different, beautiful and touching to its public: to bring the essence of strong and moving art to your life—although some things can never be made simple.

Floanne Ankah was born in France and resides in New York City where she works as an actor on stage, film and television (view actor's website). She graduated from the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio in 2004, and practices yoga and voice on a daily basis. A pluri-diciplinary artist, Ankah explores verious performance forms on stage and as been awarded for her experimental film work. She has performed dances for Mina Nishimura, Noémie Lafrance and Meredith Monk.
Floanne aspires to simplicity and believes that the audience plays a prominent part in the creation of art, as they actively observe what they are presented with: they create what they think, see and feel. (PDF Curriculum Arte and Bio)
