ARTIST STATEMENT

Creating art stuff is my hobby. I couldn't live without it.

I like to capture the innocence in the human condition and offer a peaceful harmonious take on life. I enjoy exploring movement that is organic, primal, combined with vocal elements that unveil truth. I like the authenticity of mistakes, hesitations, feminity and breathing. The themes that are important to me include environment, personal responsibility and the connection between people.

I collaborate with artists I love from my belly, to give them a voice. In an ideal world, watching the film or experiencing the performance would empower the audience and propel them to take action. Hopefully my stuff is sophisticated on the edges. In any case, if I am making something, it's because it feeds my soul and I want to see it live.

COMPANY MISSION

SIMPLE production is a New York based art organization intended to feed the imagination of any curious audience.  Inspired by themes drawn from the human condition and the environment to abstract concepts, the works include—but are not limited to—live performances, videos and film.  Uniting the performing and multimedia arts, the original efforts and choreographies is a collaboration of talent from diverse cultures: innovative and like-hearted artists creating something generous, authentic and meaningful around them. SIMPLE production aspires to offer the experience of something different, beautiful and touching to its public: to bring the essence of strong and moving art to your life—although some things can never be made simple.
